Final Coat provides a fully managed refurbishment and maintenance service for aged-care homes and retirement living. A dedicated Project Manager inspects your facility, prepares a clear plan around residents' routines, and coordinates all trades—painting, safety upgrades, grab rails, slip-resistant paths, basic appliance and lighting checks, lawns and external tidy-ups—finishing with a full top-to-bottom clean. We are fully licensed, hold $10 million public liability insurance, workers compensation, and are licensed to carry out all trades we manage, giving you a safer, fresher environment with minimal disruption and full compliance.

Assessment & Care Planning

Your first point of contact is a dedicated Project Manager who visits site, listens to concerns and walks every area of the home or facility.

We complete a detailed condition and safety report covering paintwork, surfaces, slip and trip risks, lighting, appliances, external areas and access paths.

Together we prioritise works around resident needs and clinical operations—zoning, timing, quiet hours and any high-risk residents.

A clear plan is then set: scopes, trades, staging, risk controls and communication to residents, families and staff.

We run the whole job

We orchestrate all trades under one programme: painters, handymen, electricians, cleaners, etc., but we also manage lawn crew and house cleaning.

Our team works around medication rounds, mealtimes and visiting hours—quiet methods and low-odour, low-VOC systems as standard.

You get simple progress updates with photos and a running action list so facility managers always know what's done and what's next.

Handover & Ongoing Care

At completion, we provide a room-by-room sign-off so you can see exactly what has been addressed and when.

Our own cleaners give the property a full top-to-bottom clean—walls, trims, floors, wet areas and key external touch points—so spaces are ready for residents and families immediately.

We can set up rolling maintenance visits for painting touch-ups, safety checks, external clean-ups and slip-resistance inspections to keep the facility safe and looking cared-for.
